Privacy & analytics

How anonymous measurement works on this BrinkerAdvisor site.

Your choice

Privacy-limited Google Analytics is enabled by default on BrinkerAdvisor's owned RATES, ECON, and BOOKS sites. One shared preference applies across those three subdomains in this browser. Disabling analytics stops future events and clears BrinkerAdvisor GA cookies that the page can access.

Analytics is enabled across RATES, ECON, and BOOKS in this browser.

What we measure

When enabled, we measure aggregate page views, engaged reading, navigation, official-source and download clicks, subscription intent, and qualified interaction with rate offers, Treasury material, and municipal content. Approved BrinkerAdvisor campaign tags may identify the post, Note, Page, or email placement that led to the site.

What we exclude

This implementation does not send names, email addresses, subscriber identifiers, full URL or referrer query strings, financial holdings, account amounts, or raw free-text searches. Advertising personalization, Google Signals, user-provided data, and a BrinkerAdvisor user-ID system are disabled.

Sources, retention, and access

Google Analytics describes privacy-limited owned-site web activity. Substack separately supplies publication statistics for email, app, Notes, subscribers, revenue attribution, and retention under its own settings and privacy terms; those unlike measures are kept separate. BrinkerAdvisor limits analytics access to Bob. Planned operating settings retain GA4 event data for 14 months and aggregate warehouse partitions for up to 400 days, subject to platform controls.

Why we use it

Aggregate evidence helps improve editorial usefulness, navigation, source links, and site performance. It does not automatically change public rankings or recommendations. This description explains the implementation and is not a legal guarantee.
